Shiro Cosmetics (Very) Mini Haul + Custom Lip Gloss

I found myself getting rather annoyed with the current makeup offerings from main stream cosmetic companies. Not that I dislike liquid lipsticks or highlighting powders, it's just that everything seems a wee bit boring. It was then, during one of my dangerous, late-night, web surfing sessions that I came across Shiro Cosmetics. Shiro is a well known indie makeup company, set in Portland, Oregon, and after reading much about this growing company, I decided to place an order.
All three items I ordered are from the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' theme. I am a huge fan of the franchise, and when I saw Shiro offered a rather extensive 'The Seven Kingdoms' collection, I knew my first purchases had to be Game of Thrones related.
I purchased three things total; two eye shadows ($6 each for a full size) from said collection and a custom lip gloss. Swatches at the end!

- Little Bird: a matte, soft ballerina, peony pink color
- Mother of Dragons: (my favorite of the bunch! So beautiful, definitely a future repurchase) a soft purple, lilac, taupe-y color with shimmer
- Hodor: silvery, true taupe, a really whimsical shade
- Too Old, Too Poor, Too Dangerous: taupe, grey, khaki green, very unique shimmery shadow (a Professor Lupin inspired shade! HP and GoT are my faves!)

Now, for my favorite thing out of my entire purchase, my custom lip gloss ($13, price depends on custom selections).
After going through countless reviews on other people's experiences with their own custom order, I decided to purchase one myself.
You can ask for a your custom gloss to be the same shade as any of their eye shadows as long as their lip safe, but I wasn't able to find exactly what I wanted so I decided to provide Caitlin (the lovely owner!) two (1,2) reference images for the color I wanted. An opaque creamy, medium, pink-y brown, with peppermint flavor.
And Caitlin's rendition exceeded my expectations!

The scent is alright, not my favorite but I don't find it annoying, it disappears once applied. The color is beautiful, just what I wanted, I mean to use it to layer over lipstick. The consistency is insanely comfortable, I can't believe this isn't from a "high end" makeup company. I prefer lipsticks because I usually can't really stand sticky lip gloss, but this is far from sticky or uncomfortable.
Overall, I am more than pleased with my first Shiro Cosmetics order. They even included candy in my order! I highly recommend them, and I am definitely going to be ordering more from them! I've already got my eye on the Harry Potter shadow in "Free Elf" (a mustard, camel yellow matte) and "Go Home Douglass, Your Trunk" (a unique green mustard matte.
