Jeffree Star Androgyny + Doll Part (with Dupes)

I ordered Androgyny and Doll Parts back in 2015 when they first launched in Jeffree Star's Holiday Limited Edition Collection. Luck...

I ordered Androgyny and Doll Parts back in 2015 when they first launched in Jeffree Star's Holiday Limited Edition Collection. Luckily these babies are coming back into the permanent line, and good thing too, because they are beautiful.

The limited edition packaging was different than the original in that it had white caps with rose gold accents/lettering as opposed to the standard pink cap and gold details. They each retail for $18 and I got both of mine from Beautylish where you get free shipping with any order of $35 or more, plus your order comes wrapped in special paper printed with Jeffree's tattoos, AND they have aaaamaazing customer service. Highly recommend you get your JS stuff from them.

Back to the lipsticks.

Formula:  4.7/5
This is my favorite liquid lipstick formula from all the ones I have tried (Colourpop, Lime Crime, LASplash). It is thicker than Colourpop's but not moussey. It is light and flexible, and the least drying of all the formulas I've tried. Barely feels like you're wearing anything until around the 4 hour mark, when the dryness starts to settle in.

Weartime: 5/5
This lippie wore for 7+ hours without retouching even though I ate some oily foods, which is surprising due to how easily it scrubbed off my hand in the pictures below. On the lips though, it is comfortable, long lasting and when it does start to fade, I've noticed it fades evenly (a.k.a no butt hole lips).

Transfer-Proof(?): 4.3/5
These aren't 100% transfer proof, especially if your oily skinned and tend to get oily around the nose/mouth area. This happens to me and makes only the perimeter of my lipstick transfer onto a napkin. For the most part though, these are pretty transfer proof as long as your not scrubbing at it or purposely trying to prove otherwise.

Packaging: 5/5
I mean, come on. White and rose gold? Yes, please. Aside from the packaging being really beautfiful, I reeeaaaallllyyy like the applicator, it has a little dip in it to hold product. You really just need to dip in twice (and that's if you have fuller lips) to get both lips covered. Also the shape of it lets application be quite precise, even without a lip liner.

Both pictures were taken in natural sunlight

Here you can see the little dip that holds the product and the
more precise peak

Dupes
In the swatches above:
left side: Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick In the Flesh ($2): almost identical to Doll Parts, slightly less bright and less matte
top to bottom: LASplash Nymphadora (now called Nymphaea $14): similar to Androgyny but definitely more brown, Androgyny is more of a mauve.
Androgyny: a mauvey, plummy, brown lipstick that is absolutely beautiful and quite unique I think even though it doesn't seem so. It's hard to find a dupe because of the undertones, it actually pulls more mauve than brown on me,
Doll Parts: This sounds crazy because I'm more of a brown-rosy-nude kind of lipstick girl, but I think Doll Parts is my favorite of the two. I don't even wear pink lipstick but this color is oh so perfect. Its bright but not too bright, pink but not too pink, I don't know I just love it on me, its a very CEO Barbie color.
Revlon Matte Balm Sultry ($8): its in the same color family but a lot pinker/redder than doll parts and with a less matte finish.
right side: Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick Mochalicious ($2): Mochalicious is one of my top 5 favorite lipsticks, and its almost identical to Androgyny, except it leans a hint more brown and has less of a matte finish.

Scrub Test Below (LASplash Nymphaea, JS Androgyny, JS Doll Parts) after (left) scrubbing dry for a while and (right) after scrubbing with dish soap for about half a minute.

Androgyny will be coming back in stock soon, but in the standard packaging, as well as Doll Parts. I suggest you follow Jeffree on Instagram to stay up to date on restock dates.
